USA Power Steering Failure

Was getting my car out of the snow today when I felt my car was hard to steer. I thought maybe there was some snow around the tires or something, but once I got it out, I noticed I had little to no power assist. I checked the fluid, which was totally full, so its not a leak. I looked in the reservoir to see if there were bubbles to see if the pump was working, and there were bubbles. I'm not sure what else it coud be...just replaced the steering knuckle and rack last year around this time...maybe it failed again. ALSO, i should add that when I rev the engine the steering assist returns but not 100%. When its idling there is no assist. Anyway, lemme know what u guys think

Did you try to bleed the system by turning the steering wheel fully CCW then fully CW.

So I got the diagnosis today, the pump is bad and put metal into the whole system! What under the moonlight looked like dirt was actually metallic...shud be fun flushing that out!
