Bedding new pads and rotors?

Is there such a need for our cars? Getting new brakes soon(cause mine are warped beyond belief) and I want to know.

As far as I know all you need to do is get new pads and rotors and it will be fine.

Yes, theres a need for ALL cars. Just be gentle on the brakes for a couple hundred miles, try not to ride them and dont do any panic stops.

I have been to many brake clinics by big manufacturers such as rayobestos and the consensus is that they have a rule called the 30-30-30 rule. Go 30 mph and use brakes to slowly stop, then give 30 seconds cooling time, and do it 30 times. Then drive normal. I've been doing this since i learned it 2 years ago and it COMPLETELY solved all squeaks or brake complaints period. Never had a comback after using this method.

just use them light until you get out of town and go find a low traffic road and just go do it and you will be fine.
