this is a list of hundreds of people and their rim choices and sizes. with a 45 offset u might need to get spacers to keep them from rubbing against the shock.

Yeah. I have OEM Gen 5 16" rims. I'm getting Mk3 Supra rims soon, which will fit without spacers. I THINK they are 16x7 38mm. About 8mm bwtween the strut and tire.

*Edit. Just made sure. 16x7 37mm, not 38mm.

so i thought i would get 17s but they discontinued the rim i wanted

so now i found some 18s with tires for 300 good deal???

No point going with 17's unless your just into looks really. Mine is a daily driver, and I live around potholes. 17" are more likely to get bent, tires cost more, cops take notice more, and generally do nothing for performance. So for a daily driver, 16's on a Gen 3 are the best. Only thing that would help for the performance would be wider tires, rather then larger diameter rims.
