i have a 1993 camry 4cyl 185,675 miles and my oil light has started to stay on at first it was only at start up but it was cold in maine -10 so i thought it was thick oil but now it stays on most of the time on off on off anyone have any suggustions

Yes, take it in to a shop that can remove the oil pressure sending unit and temporarily replace it with a mechanical gage. Then they can take some actual pressure readings and compare them to specifications. If you are lucky, it may only be a bad sending unit, however your car does have a lot of miles on it. If the oil pressure is low that can be a bad oil pump or bad engine bearings.
