3rd Generation hood latch

hey guys, i was just wondering if anyone knows how to adjust the hood latch because mine is a little too high and my hood rattles when i drive. also, does anyone know how to tighten the hood-release cable? i pull on mine but my hood doesn't pop up like it should. any advice would be appreciated. thanks in advance.

There are bolts on the latch for adjusting. Clean and lube it to fix your cable problem. Maybe it's loose which would explain both problems ?

are the rubber stops over by the fenders adjusted correctly? if they are too low the hood can rattle and not line up to the fenders when closed.

and yeah, just use something like wd40 to clean out the latch. its probably gummed up with junk keeping the hood from actually popping up.
