3rd Generation What to do with a stock '95 V6 XLE? (Upgrades? Mods?)

Hi guys, I'm new to TN and I've got a '95 Camry XLE V6 (automatic). I want to upgrade it but I don't really know where to start. I don't have a ton of money to spend so no turbo or anything like that for now haha, but does anyone have any suggestions?

Update:
I've been poking around a bit and I've came across posts mentioning Depo headlights and corner lenses. They looks pretty sweet. Are they pretty much the best out there? Also, after checking listings on eBay some say 92-94, and others say 92-95. One has a picture of the Depo box, and it says 92-95. Shouldn't they all be compatible?

most common upgrade CAI
you can get the short ram but not sure if you get any gains from it
next cat back or at least a better muffler
theres a thread on here SEARCH FREE MODS that has a couple of good thing i havent tried it but others have and said it works
you can also get some SS lines and cross drill / slot rotors
do the BIG 3
search "big 3"
if you want more power you can always get a custom turbo setup or a S/C
i personally like the S/C a little better but its what you want
also there is "nos" the best "bang for the buck" mod but if your engine has a lot of miles i dont think it would handle the "nos"

Okay, I'll help out a fellow Mississippi boy, lol.

Abew is right, searching will help you out so much. But just posting to say "search" isn't very constructive either. I don't know who's time just got wasted more, the one reading it or the one posting it.

Anyways, you said you have a 95, right? well, unfortunately, the clear headlights aren't made for the 95/96 models anymore (if they ever were made). The easiest fix to that is to get the clears for the 92-94 (called generation 3, the 95/96 is the gen 3.5) and a grill for a gen 3, and with some slight modification to your bumper you can install those.

As for the v6, I can't really offer any advice on that, I've only dealt with the 4-cylinder. But, there are quite a few out there who have the v6 and have been able to do a lot with it.

Searching is the best start, though, and it sounds like you're on the right track. Good luck!

edit: abew330, I wasn't knocking you, btw. I just remembered when I first got on TN and everytime I'd search then breakdown and post a question, the first reply I'd get was "search" and felt like what I mentioned above.

Thanks for the advice, I was kinda wondering what some people meant by 3.5. About the headlights.. this is the listing that had the picture of the box that says 92-95: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/DEPO-...spagenameZWDVW

They wouldn't work?

Thanks. Where can I find the FAQ's? The FAQ's up top between "TN Arcade" and "Calendar"?

If you go and take a look at your lights, they are more pointed toward the grille, as opposed to the Depo's, that's the difference between the gen 3 and 3.5. Like I said, they'd work, but you'll have to get a gen 3 grille as well for it to look correct.

Would a gen 3 grille be enough or would I have to modify the bumper? (as you mentioned earlier) If so, is it simple enough for someone that shouldn't be allowed to touch a car to do?

Is it only the 96 year that you have to cut up the bumper?
