Gen3 Stock speaker power rating?

Anyone have any idea? I'm selling my system to help pay for insurance and then after that (long time down the road) I want to get a new car (Celica All-trac turbo) and then put competition sound into that. So for the time being, I guess I just want to run my stock speakers off a 4 channel amp. I don't know if I should sell my amp with my subs and get a new amp or just keep the one I have now. I know that 175x4 RMS will be way overpowering the stock speakers, is this too dangerous to do?

im pretty sure stock speakers wont be able to handle more than 75 watts max. you've got a good amp for some high powered component speakers. if on a budget buy a nice set of 6 1/2" component speakers up front, disconnect the rear 6x9's and run the other two channels to a nice 12" sub

the stock speakers are only rated at 15 watts i believe, your amp will destroy them.
