My friend is parting out his '04 Civic Si and was going to sell me his Magnaflow Exhaust setup. I was wondering if it would be possible to install that on a my 2000 Camry LE 4 cyl. I already have a muffler but I want something louder. Let me know what you think.
yeah, but have them cut it up & install it after your resonator so your car doesn't sound ricy.
here in toyotaland, we try to ahve alittle class.

Thanks for the responses. I've heard the exhaust on my friend's civic, will it sound deep and loud on mine if I were to get it installed? He's asking $300, is that a good price?

you can get a brand new magnaflow muffler for $100... tell him to go sell it to some civic riceboys
And toys is right, a resonator would be a good idea... my magnaflow has always sounded kind of ricey, but a lot of that is due to the fact that Im running headers as well.

Now he's offering $175 and here's the link: http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/s...e=Sport&id=214
In the picture, the pipe in the middle with the cylinder is the resonator, correct? So if I had this installed, I would replace my current system with everything in the picture? Also, could I keep my current Magnaflow muffler instead of putting the new on? Would that make a big difference in sound? I don't like the dual tips that my friend has.
