3rd & 4th Generation (1992–1996 & 1997–2001)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 1992-1996 & 1997-2001
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
this is really random and will prolly get moved but here goes . if any of u watch Mythbusters on discovery, they did a myth on home made gas saving remidies and one of the cars they tested was a black gen3 2.2 with black rims, aside from the missing turn signal it looked pretty good...anyone missing a car near san fransisco
^lmao i saw that. They also shot out the rear window in it for a myth as well. I don't know what they were thinking. I bet it was Jamie's.
Also... that old truck they use to drive to sites, LoL.

Yeah, I posted something about it in a thread someone started about a sweet Toyota Corona that Mythbusters tore up in a couple of episodes. Tearing up cars for the sake of good television...

my Father had a friend who tried this up North in Ontario, theres a body of land designated "Algonquin Park" well lets put it this way, its the size of a small European Country, and its pretty much entirely protected (that means its got bears and shit)
well dumbass took a car with cooking oil for fuel up there, next day he found the car flipped over with bears mauling it.
So yes it does work, be cautious as wildlife will come looking for food

haha wow.... must have been quite the sight
I love camping at Algonquin Park, very scenic place.
none of the gas saving myths were "confirmed", including the acitone. and most made gas mileage worse. its weird cuz i use acitone on long road trips and it helps quite a bit campared to the same trip with out.
