4th Generation Coolant Reservoir

Hi guys..

One question..

Would a 1992/1993 Camry's Coolant Reservoir fit a Gen 4...?? I have a 1998 V6 Camry to be more specific...

Is it exactly the same tank..??

Here's a link with a pic.. It looks pretty much like the one in my car...

Thanks for the help...

Unfortunately no....

Sorry, but that coolant reservoir won't fit in your Camry. I recently had to buy a replacement reservoir for my 98 as well. I ended up getting one off of ebay from a pick and pull place in California (can't remember the name). For some reason they don't seem to sell new ones anywhere on the internet (at least not that I could find). You could try a pick and pull, but the places I went would charge me minimum of $35 dollars regardless of what I was taking, so it ended up being a little cheaper to get the one shipped from cali. It's better than getting one from the dealer ($80 plus, depending on which dealer I called!). Good luck.

I had a 94 (gen 3)and a 98 (gen 4) Camry. Both were 4 cylinder 5SFE engines. Like swensonator says, the reservoirs were different.
