Question 93 camry wont start now

hey guys i have a 93 v6 camry and i just went ouside to go to a friends house and i started my car and it started right up and ran fine. i waited a minute and then put it in reverse and gave a little gas and the car barely reved up and the check engine light came on for a sec and went right back off. i put in back in park and reved it once and the car barely reved up. what it does is like the idle is like 800 on the car, and when its at idle if you give any gas it goes up but then very quickly goes back down to like 400 just about ready to cut off then goes back up to like 1500 by its self then goes back down to like 400 then back to 800. and its like as soon as you give any gas the check engine light comes on for like a half of a second then goes back off. well i hit the gas one more time after waiting like 30 seconds and then it reved right up and went right back down to idle and i never saw the light flicker or anything. so i just hit it one more time just to back sure when the car was idling (gave a little more then half of the trottle didnt plant it to the floor) and it cut right off and wouldnt restart.do you all have any tips or anything. do you all think maybe i just flooded the motor since the car wasnt fully warmed up.

A-have you checked under the hood for any intake problems, or anything unplugged? B- have you checked the codes that where probably set....they may help, you know, figure out what the problem is...

on a side note...have you done anything to figure out what the problem is before posting?

maybe, and yes.
to your two other questions, buy a Hatnes manual, saves everyone on this site stress, and would be the greatest investment in your car that you could make.
