Was there anything wrong with it? $600 seems really cheap.

OH MY F*CKIN' GOD!!! DO NOT tell me you're selling that Camaro!!! Jeez... I feel so bad, man... Hell, if I had the money, I'd buy it from you, too...

On a lighter note, I just made a junkyard score of a lifetime... 95 Coupe... I got BOTH door panels, BOTH rear panels, the package tray, the dash bezel, center console, A-pillar, B-C pillars, the gauge cluster, and the HVAC controls... Guess how much I paid...

$43.68 !!! Can you believe that?? I'm going back tomorrow for the glass for both doors, and both quarter windows, and the dash... The body i.e., the fenders, and the hood were gone already, but I can get them from somewhere else...

Oh yeah, one other thing... BUY THIS CAMARO!!! I've seen it and it's worth EVERY penny!!!

which...the camaro or the camry? the camry i can agree with the camry to no end but the camaro as a car, depending on the owner and luck, isnt even in the same league as the camry. but i do have a friend with one and he treats it like a queen and she returns the favor.

glad you found a good deal toni...my old coupe is in good hands

yes...I had big plans for my 3.8 buildup...Nitrous, Valvetrain, full-bolt ons...

unfortunately I am in lots of debt and I'm hoping I can get 4+K for my camaro to help cope w/ that

Someday I will buy another Camaro (in ~2yrs) def w/ the LS1

but long story short...all of my possessions are up for grabs

Thanks... I walked in to this pull-it-yourself yard, actually to harvest another driver's side mirror for the coupe... AND THERE SHE WAS... I immediately felt myself getting kinda moist... I snatched open the door, and the door panels were already taken off, and there was only one, and after I got done crying, I looked over to my left, and there the other door panel was, sitting in a different car... I sent my brother, who went with me, to the store about a block away to get a $5 ratchet kit, and in the meantime, I went to work, pulling everything I possible could get without tools, and when he came back, we went to work on the stuff I needed tools for... We almost got the dash out, but there was this ONE elusive bolt/screw that was still holding the stupid dash in place, and after much searching (and swearing and scratched hands) we got it out... I went back today for the door glass and the quarter windows, the headliner (it also had a sunroof), the seats (leather) and the carpet, which was in suprisingly good shape... The car had obviously been taken care of very well... I also got all the odds and ends, i.e. seatbelts, trim rings, and whatnot... The total for today's harvest came to just under $100.00... And I walked out of there a VERY happy woman, but forgot ONE thing... You guessed it!!! I forgot to get the shit I went in there for... The damned driver's side mirror!!!

Tomorrow... The Teardown...

Note to Adam... I'm really sorry to hear about you selling your Camaro, and I promised you pics of the Coupe, and you will get first dibs on the pics... So, that's why you can't leave the forum...

To be honest, if I were you, I would have bought all that stuff anyway, even if I didn't have a coupe to put it in because I searched on eBay, and they were asking $200 for the door panels ALONE, and you can imagine how much those quarter windows cost!! I think of it as an investment... I know the dash etc. is the same, but I got it because I am changing the entire look of the dash, and needed one to experiment on... First order of business: INDIGLO!!!
