Does anyone know what this sensor is for or what it is called so I can look for a replacement. This sensor is leaking oil when the car is running. It drips a steady stream of oil once the car has been running for about 5 minutes. I want to fix this problem myself instead of going to dealer but this is not my car. I know this is an easy fix but I just need a name for the part. Is this the pressure sending unit?

yep, oil pressure switch. if you've never done one before be very careful when putting the new one on. they use a tapered thread and you can crack the housing if you do it up too tight.

I second that, and if the threads are dry, apply a little teflon tape to them before installation.
