Where can i get the parts to clean the battery terminal? I also noticed that the engine seems to be tilted towards the back. is this normal? when i got in and started the car, it hesitated for about 4 sec. after it turned over, the idle was at 2k then dropped to about 1800 rpm after about 15 sec. I'm guessing it's the throttle valve thats sticking. how would i go and clean this or what can be the problem? what is the normal idle range for the camry 2.2L? how much does it cost to get a new key and remote? i have two keys and one remote and would like a second remote and a second key with the black covering. where do you guys get things for your camry? thanks! I'll have the video of the engine sound up but it sounded like a whistle.

Wow, let's see if I can help you out here...
The engine is tilted towards the back, that's normal.
The engine will idle a little high upon startup, then after 15-20 seconds idle down to normal (depending on the temp, I guess), but I think 1800 is still a bit high. Mine idles around 1000-800 before it warms up.
For the exact idle range, download the factory manual (gen 4) that's located at the top of the General Camry Discussion section.
If you want a new key and remote, you might be able to find a blank key on ebay and have it cut, and I know you can buy replacement remotes from AutoZone. I still think you have to take it to the dealer to get it programmed (I could be wrong).
As for things for our Camrys, what exactly are you talking about? accessories? parts? window stickers? doo-dads? Some people only swear by OEM (Original Equipment Parts - Dealership). I myself will get some items from the dealership (o-rings, seals, gaskets, Toyota filters, antifreeze) but usually get my reman stuff from auto part stores. You can also find stuff on ebay or occasionally people here are parting out or selling stuff from their projects (seems to be a lot of that in the way of Camry's lately...)
As for the battery acid, you could always do the ol-fashioned way of pouring coca-cola on it to dissolve the acid corrosion, then take the terminal off the battery (you really should do that first anyways), take a metal brush and scrub the heck out of it. When you get it shiny and decent again, get some battery protectant gel or spray and coat it very well after putting it back on the battery post.
