1998 Camry w/ over 150,000 (oil)

It's my gf's mothers car. She has her 2004 Honda S200 (red) for fun and this for just gettin around. I have to do her oil tonight and I've only worked on her S2000. So I need to know what oil grade the 1998 Camry I4 takes and approximate amount. Also if anyone recommends using the High Mileage Oil, let me know?

I would look under the hood or at the manual, but I am going right from work to the store for the oil and then to Toyota for the filter, then to do the car.

It uses 5-30 and almost 4 qts. I don't like HM and synthetic blend oils. You don't need to stop at the stealership for the filter, just buy any except for FRAM.

The dealer is not that expensive for oil filters. I pay like $3-4 for my 05 Matrix XR AWD. Glad to know its 5-30 I figured that, since my 05 Tris uses the same grade. Thanks for the info!

I agree. Here oil filter from dealer is $6.95CDN, a Quaker State from Canadian Tire is $6.99CDN. Go figure.
