ECU programming chips and Air Flow Rates

So im looking at reprogramming my ECU on my 1999 camry, and I really dont know where to look because I dont really know the background on any brands or the quality of any brands. Does anyone have any suggestions on where or what brand to look for, or has anyone actually reprogrammed their ECU, I would be interested in hearing about if there was any gains and how much.

Also, I ran across an electric air intake supercharger the other day on the internet. It says it creates around 2psi of boost by forcing more air through the air intake in the manifold. In theory, this sounds plausible, but Im kinda iffy about it. Has anyone seen or heard about this before or know anything about it. I know a turbo or supercharger would be ideal, but im a broke ass college student so those really arent in my range. I found it here: http://autoaccessorystore.com/home_n...=detail&id=952

let me know if yall have any suggestions or ideas on these. Im asking here because I dont know anyone whos done anything to a camry here in oklahoma.

Stay away from those electric superchargers. They aren't what they claim.

The Toyota ECUs aren't worth cracking into because no one would buy the after market flashing systems. There are companies that will let you ship your ECU to them and they will mod it and make it flash able, but the little bit of power you would gain from this isn't worth it.

save your money.

it won't give you anywhere close to 2psi of boost.

maybe .02psi
