Unhappy So Long and thanks

Well it seems that my 92 Camry LE has lasted its usefulness, at 152,923mi. . I'm trading her in for a 2007 Honda Civic LX NEW ! I appreciate the help that you guys gave me for the four years that I had with this car. The main reason why I'm getting rid of her is because the repair shop wanted 1575.00 to fix the suspension, links, mounts, axles and they told me I needed two new tires. At that point I said screw it and I’ll pay the 40.00 that owe you to tell me whats wrong with it. So again thank you for your help and at times I will come to the board to offer any help I can give. Again sorry I’m jumping off the Toyota Band wagon and jumping on the Honda one. I don’t want to start any flame wars or anything but whats a good forum for Honda’s?

Again thank you for your help and technical advise on my 92 Camry LE.

yea honda-tech is good i personally like the deals they get on their look up jlb motorsports... they give sweet deals on rims/tires and other stuff. They quoted me $800 for the k-sport coilovers with or without custom spring rates for my 95 camry!! They got thousands of good reviews on that website...

Don't have to leave! I have an Accord myself, and the wife wants a Civic SI coupe, so you can keep us updated on how the Civic works out!....Get a second opinion on those repairs!

Gee, seems like it's just that time..where the gen 3's are slowly meeting their untimely demise since they're at least 11 years old. My mom's Camry is 12 years old and other than an odd sound while the engine is running (I told her, it's probably from sludge when she decided one oil change per year was enough - and her mechanic failed to recommend every 3K/3mo) it's great. Once her car goes she'll probably take mine.

It is sad to see everyone going to Honda though

when i finally let my camry go i will not be buying a honda, there great cars by all accounts but i dont like their their bland design, given the camry isnt a show stopper. the only one i would buy is an S2K. i dont even like the NSX, overpriced and unerpowered. the new SI is a cool little car i gotta admit, i had a chance to drive one and it has some pep, little slugish in the corners compared to comprable cars though.

i know alot of people are gettin kinda frustrated with yota cuz they have NO performance oriented cars out now cept the 07 SE V6 camry, and thats not even that great when u consider other brands. yota has some work to do in that department IMO.

And I hate that!! Sure hope it doesn't happen to mine!!

About Honda tho, they make damn good cars...different than Yota, but reliable none the less! I love my Gen 3.5 loaded coupe, much more than the wifes 04 Accord EX...but shes happy! Thats very important

Im on 8thcivic.com that place is great and have tons of info and best of all.. it has a whole ton more regulars there than this place that arnt noobies..
