stock gen 4

i have a stock gen 4
2000 ce MT

im trying to get some good launches. but it seems like the tires arent sticky enough.
so wat are some cheap tires i can get?

im thinkin of getting some Sumitomo HTR 200 - 195/70/14's

what do you guys think?

Well you don't want too sticky a tire b/c the drivetrain wasn't made for good launches, it's a family car, I'm amazed I actually found a manual but I hear Yoko's are really sticky but don't last. Just go to tire rack or some place and start learning about tires.

I would stay away from the Sumitomos and get Kumhos. This one is $42 from tirerack. These are higher rated and will last longer. You probably won't find much traction unless you spend more money.
