I don't know the exact specs; only a rough estimate.

They are about as powerful as the internal amps on aftermarket stereos. So about 20W RMS and 50W max per channel.

Also the stock speakers might be 2 ohms so if you put aftermarket speakers, usually 4 ohms, the output will be different.

I see. I installed a new HU tonight and bypassed the factory amp, I wasn't sure if that was a good thing or not. Thanks for the info.

Do you have stock speakers? If you do, you might want to check if they are 2 or 4 ohm speakers. Aftermarket head units are designed to operate with 4 ohm speakers. Speakers that are 2 ohms can cause the amp to over heat.

I'm unsure if they are 2 or 4 ohm speakers, but if they are 2 ohm speakers, do they immediately need to be replaced?

To answer my own question, haha, I spoke to a Crutchfield representitive earlier today and he said that it wouldn't be a problem at all with the head unit I just put in. He said the Kenwoods have some sort of an advanced cooling chip in them. Anyways, I just ordered some JBL 6x9's that also have a 2 ohm impendence. Installing them will be fun.
