i usually park my car outside on the street. but i was doing a oil change, so i parked it in the garage. i looked under the car, and i see some leakage. i went to check it out. there was some clear liquid dripping from a rubber tube. the tube is small. 1 cm in diameter and about 2 inches in length. its open on one end and the other end is coming from the chassis? at first it was dripping really fast. like 1 drip per second. and as time went on, it would slow down. i asked a couple of friends to see wat they say. and one suggested its because on of condensation or w/e from A/C. and i was using the A/C b4 i got home. so the next day i used the A/C also, then parked on the driveway. i got out of the car and check underneath. and it was dripping again. the car works fine. no maintenance light is on or anything.
anyone have any information or theories? is it normal? if not wats hapening?
^ Funny thing is, I never looked for mine. 1 week ago I was under my car, saw it, and was like WTF is this for?!?!?!. Same thing, A/C, haha.
hahaha, yea. exactly. i never noticed till now. where i looked under the car to do oil change and happened to be after the A/C is on. i was like. tat doesnt look normal. matter of fact, the tube is odd. lol.
i think of it as the car taking a piss...i have my car automatically set to start up 20 minutes before my departure time so the car is warmed up and the inside cold (miami weather) and my car takes a piss in that time....

Dont you think 20 minutes is a long time? It doesnt take that long to warm up in Florida, and it doesnt seem like it would take 20 minutes to cool down inside.

its not the warm up im worried about...when its 90 degrees and its 130 degrees + in your car...then yes it can take 20 minutes to cool down the vehicle....i like it ice cold... during the winter it takes about 5 or 6 minutes to cool the vehicle but we are enjoying 70 degree temps...its starting to get warmer now pretty soon itll be back up to 20 minute cool offs

20 mins is too long for your car to sit idle. The longest is 5-10 mins; I thing the mfg said it'll harm your engine if it idles longer. If you drive around with the AC blowing, it will cool down much faster than idle.
