I got my buffer and other cleaners in the mail a few days ago, so I decided to do some work on my car. Here are some pics after:

What polishes/waxes are you using? Was it part of a package when you got your buffer?

I used the buffer, along with Sonus SFX-1 and SFX-3 for the polish, and used Meguiars Gold Class wax.

Looking good. We have the same car (we don't have XLE's in Canada) but my car isn't as nice. My car would look good for a week after I wax it then it will turn dull again.

That lasted about a day or two, then it snowed so now my car is all dirty

I dont really care to much if people know my license plate number, its not something that needs to be hidden...

I just detailed my car last weekend. I swear it looks progressively better every time I do it. Car basically looks like new from 20'. But when you get up real close, you can see some spots in the clear coat. Can't seem to get them to look better.

I detailed my car today, but I didn't buff it. What's amazing is your paint is in much better condition than my 2000 LE. Has your XLE always been garage kept? Sure does look like it! Beautiful car!
