3rd & 4th Generation (1992–1996 & 1997–2001)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 1992-1996 & 1997-2001
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
it all depends if u plan on lowering it. if u do then find out how much u wanna drop then decide on wheels. ive seen 20's on a camry, didnt look good, but they did it. most stick between 16 and 18.
Oh, you neglected to mention how you want the car.
For Looks: 19's MAX. Over that will looks retarded, and not be too safe for driving.
For Performance: 17's Max would be what I'd say. I personally have 16's, and just bought a different set for this summer, which are also 16's. Bigger rims do NOT mean better performance.

ok thanx everyone... im realli feelin 18s since i want my rims to have a lip...( in my opinion havin lips on rims make that rim look a inch smaller).... but anyways what do u think about the size width across.... should i go wit 7.5 or 8>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> please vote between 17s or 18s.... which is best looks and performance wise....
17's more for performance, 18's more for looks, think about what you are going for and go with it that's it, you always have to sacrifice something to get what you want.
more money when getting light weight rims but it still applies to what I said, lightest 17's is still lighter than the lightest 18's. It's a hard decision but you can't go wrong either way at least it's better somewhat than the stock 14 or 15" steelies.
