so i try to start the car after i drove home from work, and it doesnt start. the starter doesnt click, i have power (horns and lighst work) and the relays are working but the starter doesn do anything. could the starter maybe disconnected?

tried the neutral thing. didnt work. i think its the starter/solinoid. i tapped the starter and it started up so...

have you tried smacking the starter? if there's a bad spot, smacking it with something like a tire iron will move it to a different spot that it can get contact. also check the wire to make sure something isnt loose or corroded.
