3rd Generation sticky gauge

hello all,

I've been meaning to replace the sending unit for my temp gauge (the one for the inst. cluster, not the sensor for the ecu.) My temp gauge has been out of comission for a while now, and when I checked the gauge for continuity by grounding out the sending wire, the gauge refused to move. I took out the cluster and removed the gauge itself, played with the needles (speedo to 140mph, of course).

When I reinstalled the cluster, the temp gauge tries to climb and fall, but it seems to stick.

Long story short, is there some way to lube up the tiny motor for the temp gauge?

I dropped it on the ground by accident, and now it moves freely.

That's a good way to fix things.
