4th Generation Change springs as well as shocks?

Hello

Just changed all 4 shocks for my 99 Camry - is it advisable to change the springs as well - the ride now is very much better than before the change - guess all the shocks were worn out after 6 years on the road - will I experience an even better drive with new springs -

BTW I checked ebay and only springs available were lowered down OEM springs - no stock springs anywhere?

Cheers

i don't think you'll notice much difference unless your current springs are sagged or somehow damaged. but if you're going to go through the trouble of replacing them, you might as well put lowered springs in it and THEN it will make a difference because the ride height will be affected. having said all that, you probably should have done it all at the same time you changed the shock absorbers.

Stock springs arent worn out anywhere near as fast as the shocks, unless you have done some serious abuse to them to crack them or anything like that id say your ride right now is at its best without wanting to swap out for performance springs and shocks.
