Has anyone done this before? I dont absolutely love my stock V6 muffler, im sure pretty much everyone feels the same. I had cheap auto zone tips, but that made it look worse.
Im sure the gen5 muffler could be fitted on a gen3, but is it a "bolt on" replacement, or would it require cutting and welding to get it to fit?
^ the stock gen3 v6 piping is 2.25" actually whereas the 4banger piping is 2"
and not sure what the gen 6 piping is, but in the end it doesn't matter anyway. the axle-back will most likely not bolt on anyway and welding will be necessary
any muffler can fit on any car if welded on

Im not really looking for a sportier one, and I deffinetly dont want one that makes me sound like a ricer, I would like a stockish looking muffler, but that has a larger single outlet pipe.
I don't think that the outlet pipe is actually any bigger....but I'm not sure...I never took a really good look at my mom's muffler tips...lol.
But it's still just a tip over the piping
I actually really liked how the stock gen3 v6 dual tip muffler looked...that's why I stuck with a dual round tip aftermarket muffler when I got rid of mine

I like the dual tips, but the two pipes coming out of the muffler are eabout the size of those found on early 90' civics. I'd rather have a large single one then a thin dual one.
