5sfe pistons for turbo??

Heres my simple question. I have a 5sfe with close to 200K on it and i am thinking of bolting a small turbo set up with a greddy emanage to give me a litle more power while i build my 3sgte up before dropping it in. i am curious to see if i should replace my stock pistons with new stock ones just to be safe that they will be in good condition? I dont want to do a lot of building up on this since i have a 3sgte in the works i just want to add a litle power to what i have to have fun with. The engine runs great and only smokes a little at start up but never while running so what you think i should do? repace or not?

And i will be taking the head off and replaceing the seals on there to get rid of what i think is my small oil leak.

Cool

Take the head off & check the piston faces to see for yourself.
Unless it's leaking alot of oil I would't touchthe son of a bitch. Nor would I do anything power wise to what you have if you're going 3s-gte becuase none of the useful mods are going to carry over to a useful 3s-gte build.
And I'd sell your car & just start with a v6 camry/avalon/ES 300 if u want a Camry. It's alot cheaper. :P

For that matter, for the cost of a 3s-gte build & the hardware to swap it. You could buy an mr2 turbo, sell the 3s-gte out of it & build a turbo v6 to put in it.

Id say dont turbo the 5s if your gonna drop a 3sgte in it... its pretty pointless if all your gonna do is drop a turbo motor in it anyway, ya know.

Noooooooo!

Hey I have nothing against a turbo in a 5s-fe, hell I'm thinking of doing the same but if that engine has an oil leak it needs new pistons or you'll blow that mother. It would likely be better to get a new engine and build that up because that engine is old to be putting pressure on it. I also hear that putting a 3s-gte in a Gen 3 is totally ridicolous because of all the money and labor.
