Is she Possessed??

My 2001 camry LE seems possessed. The drivers door and sometimes all doors lock when I exit the vehicle. Cant find any reference in the manual if this is a feature or creature. Any advise?

something is wrong. do you still have the key in the ignition? if so the doors are going to keep clicking unlock as a saftey feature so you dont lock your keys in the car or at least they should. you might have a problem but i dont know how to fix it sorry man.

The doors shouldn't be locking at all unless you hit the 'unlock' button on the keyless control and don't open any door after 30sec of that as that will then automatically relock all the doors.

If all the doors or just the driver side door is locking anytime and anywhere, there might be some kind of issue.

When the doors lock bythemself, does the headlights/taillighs blink? Maybe there's another keyless control that is triggering your car?

my car did something like this for a little while. about 20 or 30 seconds after i exited the vehicle, the car would automatically lock all the doors. though mine didnt only effect just the drivers door on occasion. i deactivated this feature after i read the manual.

i cant even remember what i had for lunch today let alone the prodeedure i did. somewhere on this forum there was either the manual or the link for the manual which detailed the instructions on what to do. ill do some poking around to see if i can find it again.
