how much will a mechanic charge to fix the airbag ligth?
first u need to figure out if its the code that tipped or somthing wrong with the airbag system. my old 96 had the same problem and the airbags worked fine but the light was just always on. i looked into it and it turned out that there was a glitch in the ECU that just caused it to trip, i never got it fixed cuz i knew the airbags were working, but u still should check to be safe.
as far as the glass, depending on the size of the crack u can use a crack repair that is sold at most auto stores but its just a "bandaid" to keep the crack from compounding.
Glass- There are kits but I would find a shop which can do it for you. They drill a small hole at the end of the crack thru the 1st layer and inject a special glue. The crack is usually still somewhat visible but usually doesn't spread. Repairs often come with a lifetime guarantee. Some places like Autozone may read the codes for free. You can then find out what they mean on the net if needed.
well tanx for the help...... i just dont want to spread across the window.... im going to a profesional to fix that out... the crack is as big as the smilies icons of a little bigger
about the airbag.. i dont think theres nothing wrong with it... i was messing with the fuse box took out the srs fuse and the ligth came on.. ever since its been like that.... put a new fuse and its still on
i went to an autozone but they could help....im gonna try to go to another autozone to see it they can help
ima sell my car soon.... to my fiance's dad..... but i wanna fix that before i sell it
tanx for the help

Im sure you already know, but whenever I read the Haynes manual, it says that if the SRS light comes on (usually from disconnecting it from a power source), that only a dealer can reset it, since you know its not the same as the check engine light, which is what Autozone has.
