4th Generation 1999 camry XLE V6

I wanted to know any known issues with a 1999 XLE V6. Mine is auto. It has around 110 K on it and I just bought it from the dealer. I wanted to know if any routine maintenance had to be done or there are issues that need to be dealt with at this point of time. This one is manufactured in Japan.
Thanks

just check with the dealer...

have them run a service history off the vin.

in order or priority

1. Timing Belt and Water Pump-must be done at 100K interval-approx 750.00 service

2. Front Lower Ball Joints- only if you hear loud creaking over bumps-38.00 ea

3. Front Strut Mounts - only if you hear loud clunking over bumps-55.00 ea

4. Battery/alternator/starter-only if it is hard to start in the mornings.

5. The ONLY MAJOR issue is with ENGINE SLUDGE.
They (Toyota) MUST inspect your engine for this and will Replace with a new engine(if needed).

if you can get a Trans Tech Fluid Flush 79.00 local, 125.00 Toyota Dealership. well worth every penny. Have them use at least Automatic Trans Fluid of Dextron 3. or Toyota IV.

if you look into these 5 and do a flush..you will be smooth sailing.
