tranny problem

It's a 1994 Toyota Camry LE (LE-I think) 4 door, 130,000 miles, 4 cylinder,
Silver, Sunroof (doesn't open right now)
anyway

i put the car in drive and take of but it leave off slowly, when i put it in reverse i have to rev to like 2krpm to get it going


any idea what it could be? or do i just need anew transmission?

i did do a fluid change about three weeks ago and the results where the same.

sounds kinda like slipping gears, if that were the case then yeah new tranny. does the car idle ok once in gear?

yeah once in gear like D or R it idles fine, but when i give it gas i sloth away then i get to snail speed then turtle..... once i get speed im pretty good. but reverse is the worst sloth to the 10 power
