3rd & 4th Generation (1992–1996 & 1997–2001)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 1992-1996 & 1997-2001
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
If you have the gen3 then you can't go lower than 5kg, so I guess use 7kg in the front and 5kg in the back, k-sport's website default spring rates on the gen 3 camry is either 9kg or 10kg (they keep switching probably based on customer feedback) and 5 kg in the back. That's what I'm getting 7kg front/5kg back. I heard that switching out the coilover springs to the same spring rate to Swift USA coilover springs will improve the ride quality and performance but I need confirmation on this. I send Miltdoggie a pm on the matter but no response, maybe he didn't recieve it .

I was going to go with the stock rates on mine when I had them but never got to install them. I figured they would know best and would have the most neutral setup, then I dont have to worry about messing the handling up...
wait a bit for yesca to install them and see what he thinks.
oh crap sorry ~
i remembered wrong.. lets try that again -.-;;;;;;
7/5 for I4 if you want it 'more confortable'
9/5 for I4 if you want it more stiff (according to some people, its not too far from neutral, so it shouldn't be that dangerous) and definately for any v6
9/7 for if you have upgraded front sway bar (otherwise u'd understeer)
thanks for noticing ^^;
