4th Generation Gen 4 Brake Problems

well tomorrow im going to take all four wheels off and clean the brakes and use some anti-squeaking solution...problem is when i turn the wheels to the left it makes a loud screaching sound like nails on a chalk board...it also sometimes happens when i lock the wheel all the way to the right but it is still coming from the left side...any ideas? thanks

i have that same problem. mine started happening after installing my suspension setup...now it's a reoccurring problem for years. maybe the wheel is hitting the timing belt or something?

The wheel does not come in contact with the timing belt or any belts for that matter.

If you're getting a noise while turning, it is likely your power steering pump. Check the fluid level in it.

You do realize that you have to take the pads off of the wheels in order to apply the anti-squeal grease to the back of the pads, right?

i just clean both sides and use the de-squeak on the outer side...i think my piston rod might be getting stuck and thats why it is rubbing

This sounds like the classic symptom of a loose power steering belt. Check the belt tension and tighten the belt if necessary.
