Probably the cable broke...you can buy replacements at NAPA or Ebay for about 20 bucks..I just recently install an S2000 antenna on the coupe, before that I had a antenna I purchased from antennaX.com.(sig) Worked fine, good reception cheap! I got tired of fixing the power OEM antenna!.......The S2000 antenna looks much better IMO! (thanks Damon)

My friends ant is on the rear of his car by the trunk. I was looking online and the pics I saw were of ones on the front of the vehicle? Also how hard was the install of the new ant? Which side of the car does the cable run? When you hooked up your s2000 you still had to run new wire right? Not to sure about alot of things as I don't own a camry. Thanks for the help guys. rod

The antenna motor is behind the trunk liner, right side, below where the antenna is on the out side...you'll see 2 nuts, I think 10 mm. That holds the antenna motor in behind a metal brace.(you'll see it)..Of course you have to remove the antenna shaft from the body before hand!(you know how to do that right) the antenna connection to the radio is on the motor...disconect them and plug into the replacement.

The power antenna is repairable, some people say "easily"."not difficult at all"..do a search!......I just decided to replaced mine!

The one's on the roof are manual antennas offered in the DX models.
