window motor, switch, regulator???

Mt drivers window intermittantly stays down. I thought that it was the switch which I replaced, but the problem persists. When the window won't come back up, I slam the door a coupple of times and it usually comes backup. Regulator or cleaning of terminals?? Any suggestion or experience is appreciated.

thanks a million

When the window fails to move is the motor working? If not check to make sure power from the switch is getting to the motor. Sounds like a loose wire.

thanks for answering

When the window intermittantly won't go up, there is no motor sound. that's why I replaced the switch. I will check all connections the next time I am in there. Thanks for answering.
