Hydraulic Fan fails to jump

I had posted this before but got no answers (hopefully someone can help)

My fan stopped working and wont jump with e1 and op1 jumped.


Have the ecus of the fan been known to go bad, any suggestions? thanks for any/all help

the fan is run off of the ps pump. there is a solenoid on the pump that activates and sends fluid to the fan. check your ps resivior for fluid

ps reservoir

this is the ps fluid reservoir on the passenger side. filled it with fluid.

ps works fine, just no fan. has the solenoid been known to break.

looked at the ecu and it looked fine, from eyballing, but that might not mean anything looking at a circuit board.

what does it mean if it doesnt jump

3rd Generation fan

does the solenoid come off the ps pump pr would I have to replace the whole unit? have any of you guys had/done this before?
