Thumbs up Ok, everyone read, need input

Ok, this is TN and I've been thinking, why don't I along with some as crazy as I to make a small Camry publication, maybe 1 then more if they are good. I was thinking to make it bigger I would have all Camry's from !st Gen to Seventh. I would ask people like Tony The Tiger for some mag quality pics and a small article of info so I can write an article about his car and its build-up, come on who doesn't want to read about a 450+ HP Camry. Then little articles about the gauges, rims, brakes DIY's and all that kind of good stuff so we could have a mag for our car even if it is for other gens but it would be better if it had them all as oppsoed to Gen 3/4. Oh and all sorts of goodies. Give some input if you would want one, if you could help me to do it, like e-mail me your articles and I could print them out at Kinkos then mail them out. Maybe like a 50 pg. mag??? Well I'll be here listening.

sounds like a good ide man but all the info weve covered would pretty much fill one issue. tony is the ONLY person on here that i know of that has done a turbo 1mz(though more to come ). also the DIY's are avalible here and there arnt that many. IMO, there just arnt enough people who would either read it or contribute to it to make it worth ur time. you could maby do a news letter or somthing small. maby do a spotlight on a different person's car each issue then include a DIY. maby even include the solara crowd in the mix as well to raise the audiance.

Honestly isnt worth your time or money, what youd end up with is an article about tony's camry and thats about it Just my honest opinion...

Yes people would like to read about a 450hp camry. But thats all you've got.

No one wants to read about some half arsed attempt at building up a camry from those who aren't financially capable of completely finishing it.

So your mag would run for 1 issue and you would have to wait for 2 years before any NEW and NOT DONE BEFORE builds came onto the scene.

Widen your scope to the entire Toyota range, then you will have some decent stories. Camrys just don't have the "10 year old boy with a turbo camry poster on his bedroom wall as his dream car" image.

I don't want to be negative, but its not worth the effort. Besides, Tony may not want that kind of publicity.

JMHO.

I also don't want to be negative...but a camry is not a typical 'enthiusiast' car...
