3rd & 4th Generation (1992–1996 & 1997–2001)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 1992-1996 & 1997-2001
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
I wasnt a huge fan of the smoked taillights either on the gen3, but I just wanted to see what it would look like. I'll do another photoshop later with it debaged and the pinstripes removed and see what it looks like. And should I keep the Toyota logo or get rid of that as well?
I painted my Emblems the same color as the car 'dark emreld pearl' and i like it. I think a really light tint would look nice. I was thinking of wrapping my lights with some 35% tint just for a nice simple look.
Bad Photo but you can see the T:

Both??? You can put window tint on camry light's? Damn, that's so simple. Why didn't I think of it.
Do you think I should get it done by a tint shop or can I do it myself?
i personally would recomend painting, less risk of damage when washing or drying. and u dont have to worry about air bubbles which would be almost impossible to avoid on the center pannel because of the "CAMRY"
What kind of paint would you use to smoke the taillights? I've never ben a fan of the entire width being a light, so painting it did cross my mind, but I was thinking that it would look good at all.
Im a big fan of smoking the tailights... Most def smoke the tails, debadge, and remove pinstripes Paint the emblem too, well depends on what type of rims i have.... If it has some sort of chome in it then maybe u could leave the emblem...
