Coilovers

Just wondering why these are so cheap when compared to other coilovers that I've seen. Is this a complete set? Here's the link:

Those are coilover sleeves, they go on top of shocks so not really full threaded coilovers which usually go for close to $1000 and up. It's mostly for the slammed look not really good for performance, and because of this many people think they got true coilovers when in fact they don't and complain when they slam it why they get shitty ass ride it's because it's not true coilovers which provides full suspension travel even when dropped. You buy these and you still have to buy stiffer shocks to go with it unless you want to kiss your stock shocks good bye real soon while riding bad and for that price you can go with k-sport coilovers, and please avoid buying the cheaper coilover sleeves too you actually are hurting performance with those, if you have to go with coilover sleeves then go with the best which is suposely ground control's because they use eibach springs.

I agree. Coilover sleeves need a different name, without the word coilover in it. Because it confuses people and we see threads like this one.

Thanks for the responses, I just wanted to know. I'm not considering buying those since I'm already lowered.

ive herd that good shocks will somewhat make up for "coilovers" like thoes in tearms of ride. but thats unconfirmed as far as the camry goes.

yea usually the combo is koni yellow shocks with ground control's usually they are matched together and makes a pretty good setup but you be spending quite a bit for that setup and like I said you might as well spend a little bit more and buy quality coilovers. Only thing would be that koni/gc combo's will be more reliable than true coilovers and IMO koni is one of the best shock makers, tokico's are nothing compared to koni's.

Ebay ones are known for cracking breaking and giving your car a full slammed look. Turns your car into a FWD "scraper" so to speak
