Angry AC problem

When I turn on the AC, sometimes the light on the switch becomes blinking (the light should be always on) and no cold air come out. I need to turn off and on several times in order to make the light constantly on. Is this just the switch problem or something happened on the AC? thanks!

My car is 93 Camry 130k

run for cover, its gonna blow!

j/k

its not a switch problem, this usually means some part in your a/c system is failing ... theres really no telling what it could be, but the repair can be anything from $15 to $600 depending on what the problem is

there are a few other topics currently open in the Gen3/4 section about this - try reading them.

your best bet is to goto a dealer or a shop that you KNOW is good with a/c systems [all other shops will just throw parts at you and make you spend a fortune]

The dash switch activates a relay. I'd be checking the relay.
