HVAC question

I jus changed the two 74 leds with 194 leds on the hvac unit, now i want to changed the defroster button and the a/c button. my a/c button works but the light doesnt snice i broke it, and the other on eis still the same old color. The leds are 3mm but i lost one of the bases for the 3mm leds i was wondering if i can just buy the leds and some how attach the 3mm leds to the surface or do i have to buy the base...i kno its kind of hard to understand, i'll try to post pictures tomorrow...

im pretty sure you can solder it if need be or you could always go to
www.superbrightleds.com if they sell it seperately you should be able to get it there

there a good source and all, i'd buy from again but they cost way to damn much, but i need to kno if its possible if i jus connect the led ends to the meal rinf for where the led fro the "a/c" button would work
