i have an reverse glow guage and it still isnt installed, bought the blue/green power invertor from procarparts.com...i tried it on my home circuitry...and it didnt work, but the one that the guages come doesnt work, everything is connected properly and it didnt want to glow even when i pressed the green/blue button
Also for changing the needles...i dont want to paint them so i bought red leds...will the leds light mix with the green from the needles? and are these green leds the one that light up the whole cluster?

there are 5 Bulbs for the Gauge. needles/gauge bulbs are the same thing. if you want to change the colour of your needles you need to change all 5 bulbs or paint them (like what i did on mine 'see my DIY')

Oh man you fried it :| you sent 120V through it man, the surge protector is meant for powerouts so it doesnt fry your tv. ps2, etc. But it wont protect your 12V Gauges because its sending 120V the surge protector thinks all appliences want 120V. Sorry man.
guess I fried the inventer then, im going to have to get another one I guess, but I'll try to get a 9V battery to see if it is fried. thanks for the help everyone.

If accidentally i move my gas needle while removing/installing...if i top-off at the gas station will the needle reposition itself or will i be screwed?
