I want to get clear corners. Do you guys know who sells them the cheapest? Are they illegal because when I turn it will not be orange. Also I want to add a subwoofer. Is this a good deal or a rip off. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...DME:B:AAQ:US:1

i dont know about the clear corners but about the sub and amp... dont get it. i guess its not a rip off since its only 100 for both but those are so weak that you might not ever hear a difference in your car unless you had a hatchback. save up some more money and get a nicer amp/sub combo that youll be satisfied with. so far ive had a kenwood excelon (first n00bie sub) and some ghetto 500w amp. surprisingly it hit good but then again it was in a ported box unlike my other subs. from there i went to an alpine type-e that i blew using a pioneer amp so i got a type-s. after that i decided to upgrade to a type-r and a fosgate amp (i got it for only $50 so it was a steal) but im still not satisfied. im hoping to get enough money for a 1600w hifonics amp and another type-r. basically. dont waste your money.
clear corners are 50 state legal. some states outlaw any color other then amber or clear for the turnsignal bulbs though. they sell alot on ebay and thats about as cheap as u can get them.
dont buy that, a sound system with amp, box and woofer for 95 bucks is gonna be crap. build ur own box, get a good 10" sub and find a used descent amp and ull pay about the same price. a capacitor is good to have as well.
as far as clear corners go, what color is your signals gonna be? I'm using the PIAA extreme whites on mine, and I havent gotten into any trouble. But if its going to be blue or something, you might have a problem.
lol i have visonik package, but dual 10's with i think either 400 or 800 watt amp (i forget...lol).
if paired with a good headunit it gives good bass. If you're looking to save space with just a single and the 300 watt, i honestly don't know how much bang you're going to get out of that. If you're looking for a little more bass, that could do it, but if you want to feel the vibes, i dont suspect that will be able to do it, even when power and gain are maxed.
clears are legal. I have them.
My bulbs are silverstars so they are clear with some sort of rainbow color when off, but when on they are amber (as pictured in my sig tag).
thanks guys for the suggestions. Im gonna go with the clear corners. I guess ill pass on the sub. I cant spend over $150. I have 0 audio experience so unless I can find some package thats reasonable that I can install myself then I think Ill skip the system.
Clear corners (the ones next to the headlight), are usually clear bulbs. I see so many Gen3's without the clear corner light, and I dont have them either.
Im guessing the reason you can get away with it is because the turn signals are orange. When I bought clear turn signals, they came with an orange bulb so im all set.

for future note, don't buy subwoofers for the oem system unless the oem system has pre-out's for the amp (basically if the headunit isnt made to support a sub, dont get one for it).
oh dang....thats a hard open ended question.
almost anything aftermarket is better than oem in the 98.
low-mid range materials will probably cost around...
100 for head unit
180 for sub/amp
120 for 4 speakers
then some misc stuff such as wires and harnesses.
prices i list are the ones found at like major stores, you can bargain at some small shops or ebay stuff.
Ok, this will cost you. First off get Kicker plain and simple it is the best in its price range. What you want is a Kicker Comp VR 10" or 12" depending on your music selection, also proted or sealed. Next is a amp, Kicker as well, one that is 300W will be more than enough for some bumpin, trust me, my friend is waiting on an amp. His two Kicker CompVR's hit loke a mofo with a alpine 150W amp, plus Kicker test there output and more often than not you'll get a few more watts than is listed. 10" for Rock and stuff (sealed) and a 12" for rap and techno. So basically anything Kicker and you'll bump the shit out of Fosgate, Alpine, Kenwood and all that other crap.
