knocking/ticking sound

i drive a 95 cpe and every time i make a turn and step on the gas, i here a ticking noise coming frrom the wheel..or somewhere. i don't know what it is, but i would like it to stop. it sounds like metal cans knocking on the ground. anyone have any idea what is causing it?

CV Joint. If you turn left, the clicking should be ont he right side, and visa versa. Ig you take the wheel off, there will ne a rubber cover on the axle. It will most likely be torn.

Also, the speed of the ticking should be linked to the speed of the car. Faster speed=faster ticking.

^ Really, you actually needed one to be replaced??????

Pics from last weekend. Yay for ticking! Well, I changed mine BEFORE it started to tick as I noticed the CV Boot was ripped.

^ If you look closely at my picture, you can see the grease too. Freaking ALL over the rear of the hub and strut, and even on the wheel well. :-/

bigbird what did you drop your camry with? usually when you drop a car too much axles get broken much more easier but that's usually with people with coilovers on their cars.
