Problem with 94

The car has been good a good runner so far, but here is the new problem: The engine is running rough at times and the check engine light has come on. When you are driving, it loses power and then starts to run correctly again. The Checker and Autozone parts stores in my area will check your codes for free, but the tools that they have are for OBD2 cars. My plug is round and the ones that they have are rectangular. Is the 94 an OBD1? Is there any other way to get the codes? Any help will be appreciated!

Ok, so you need to follow those steps. After you do it, or if you need any help, post up back in here.

I got a 26 code on the test. I'm looking into checking some of the possibilities for problems.
