3rd Generation Cosmo Racing Intake Question

My brother just picked up a 1992 Gen 3 Sedan (LE) with a 5sfe and A/T. For aesthetic purposes, the sound, he has asked me to look into an intake for him to replace the rather extensive stock plumbing. Now before I get flamed, I have spent at least 3 hours this week searching and reading on this forum about any and every intake there is, so here is my question:

Does the Cosmo Racing intake have the proper hole to attach the intake temp sensor (IAT)?

Get back to me as soon as you can, the sooner I get my answer, the sooner I can choose between the $55 Cosmo intake and the $100 Weapon-R.

Also, would a front strut bar help decrease understeer?

Yes it does. That's the brand of intake in my car.

Just bumping the thread for more input.

Thanks for your help thus far though. The Camry section of TN knows how to deliver!

Yes cosmo racing does. Cosmo racing is a brand on ebay for sri etc. I wouldn't reccommend a Weapon R because I heard they used cheap foam filters and plus cosmo racing sri is a fraction of Weapon R.

any type of stiffening up in the front of the car (strut tower bar) will create more understeer

but then again, the strut tower bar does next to nothing so i guess you won't get more understeer, however the car will feel A LITTLE stiffer.

Good find F1000X. I'm thinking of ordering a SRI from Cosmo now. About the Weapon-R intake, can't you just switch their foam filter with a K&N?

Thanks E, just doing my homework. Once my bro gets this intake on this car, I think he will catch the tuner bug just like I did. I see a whiteline rear sway bar in his future.

Update: I got the intake installed. It was $70 from Cosmo's website and arrived 1 week from the day I ordered. The install was almost laughably easy, from the box to fully assembled on the car took 45 minutes tops. I cranked it up and for the most part, the car sounded the same at idle. Once you put it in gear and get going though, everything changes. This intake is WAY louder than the stock plumbing! Throttle response is better, and I think it actually breathes a little better above 5000rpm. I recommend this part to anyone looking to make their I4 Camry sound mean. Eventually I will turn this into a CAI, but for now it is just great.

I'll try to post some by this weekend, no guarantees though.

Yes I got the neon blue one. I ordered polish, but it looks so nice I don't even care.
