1995 v6 le camry engine

i have a '95 camry with the v6 engine in it and I have done some searching on this forum and on the internet and haven't came up with much in the way of parts to rebuit the internals of the engine. I would like to have a minimum of 200whp with an all engine camry. any help would be greatly appreciated. I am sorry if this has been posted before.

Thanks

if ur going all motor then do a full exhaust, (especially the y pipe), intake and that about it. u can get custom cams made and get an ecu upgrade(reflash), but even if u find a way to make all that work ull be about um...say 160-70 whp at best. it would be very hard and expensive to get a 200whp+ na 1mz. personally id invest in a tranny swap to a manual that will make up for the lack of mods u can do. there are a few people who have built up the 1mz but they do it for a turbo project. i would not expect to get north of 200 whp with $5000, not on the camry.

Cool

How much power do you want, and what kind of powerband.
200whp is only about 256bhp. Childs play.

Can I come visit you and allow you to perform some child's play on mine?

depends alot on weather u do the labor or let someone else. id guess minimum of $1K for all the parts, prolly more. pm toysrme and he'd be able to give u a pretty good rundown of cost vs. reliability im sure.

Start by looking at other cars that come with a turbocharger, and cars that have an aftermarket setup. This will give you an idea of what is to come if you really want to follow through with a turbo Camry project.

take a look at Supras, look at Celicas, look at 300gt vr4s, WRXs, EVOs

none of these are similar to the v6 Camry (not even the vr4) but they will show you the different kinds of setups you can do and what goes where and such.
