3rd Generation O2 Sensor help

I have a 96 Camry with dual O2 sensors. I want to install headers from a 94. I noticed on other pre 95 Toyota cars, the port that the post-cat O2 sensor is plugged into on mine, is capped off. Does this mean there is a dummy resistor plugged in behind the cap? If so, how universal are they? Can I install one off, say a 94, and trick my computer so I only have to run the primary O2 sensor? Or am I just barking up the wrong tree?

with the OBDII on your 96 camry and not on the 94, you need to use both oxygen sensors or else get ready to see that CEL on your dash. on pre-95 cars the catalytic converter wasnt monitored so there was no need for the second O2 sensor, but in 96 it is (speaking from a guy who had a cat go bad on his 96).

The pre-95 I4's dont, but the 94 and 95 V6 are OBDII, and have 3 O2 sensors.

Yes you can trick the computer with an o2 sensor simulator. Only about $30. I did just that in my 97 Avalon a few weeks ago. Should be about the same in your Camry. http://toyotanation.com/forum/t186167.html

If you eliminate it completely (sounds like you'll need to do this), then you'll need to also wire up a power resistor to simulate the o2 sensor heater, otherwise you'll get an error code for that. I have pics of how I did that in my post, too.
