4th Generation So, I'm getting an HID kit

This is for a 97 camry

Is there anything I should take pre caution in such as fuses and wires? I had some great info from Phi about wire protection and where to keep it away from. But I also want to know, is it safe to use the black duct tape to seal up the wires all together? THEN if you didnt know about the problem I had about HID kit. Should I worry about anything for the fuses and wires? because I had the problem where It won't turn on when my engine is running when I turn on the headlights. The only way to turn on the headlights was either flick the high beams and it will turn on(this is when the engine is running/on) OR to NOT have the engine running and have the key in ACC/ON mode and turn it normally just like how you would turn on your headlights for your camry. Anyways, this kit is all plug and play so theres no relay involved or any wire attachments. SO, before I put my SWEET 8000k HID kit on should I worry about anything first??? So I wont get that problem again.

Thanks for your time on reading this.

Are u going to be using projector?

I wouldn't use duct tape to seal the wires because when it gets old it will fall apart u can use cold shrink tape or heat shrink tape to get a good seal.

i not sure about the problem u had with the hid kit

u shouldn't have anything to worry about wiring wise becuse its plug and play

if you get the right HID then it should be plug and play.

but then again i wouldnt put HID with the normal Stock headlights. you'll blind oncoming traffic. I've experienced this myself.

well goodluck

yeah i'm looking around to see if I can either buy a already built projecter headlight or have someone customize it. As a gen 4 is hard to get thse kinda lights made. I'm guessing I can get these tapes by the local auto stores? I'll go find out tomorrow. Don't worry leasaune. Up here the york/markham cops dont even care how bright your lights are.. well unless their really bright that is 10k or 12k. But 8k is ok. My buddy works as a York/markham police man and from what he has told me. Cops up here only catch ricers or retards kids whose racing and people who drive weird.
