Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
Nevanarviss hows my old camry coming? You get that thing lookin sweet yet?
If you saw the car now, you'd be depressed... It's COMPLETELY gutted... I took apart half the engine bay, too... I need to weld in another radiator support so that the hood will fit right... I'm Dynamatting the entire interior, roof included (that head liner is a bitch to take down)... I already fixed the dent in the q-panel, and I'n still hunting down decent shape fenders... Where's that pick-a-part ard out by you? Maybe I need to go there... I also shaved the door handles and body lines... By August, you won't even recognize the car... Maybe September... If you still have my number, call me and let me know where that yard is...
Sweet ride... I am loving that one!!! Nice addition to the "Man Cave"!!!
For a V6, all for a V6, you should've sold them both and instead of rims gone towards a Z28 Camaro with the 5.7 LS1.
Nope...I'm getting a crate 3.8, supercharging and camming it. By the time I'm done I'll have a 300+rwhp LS1 eating V6 lol

Well, your doing everything the right way so it will look worse before it will look sweet. Ever since owning the coupe, I have really had a strong liking for Camry Coupes.
There is a junkyard by me in Lansing that has at least 4 Camry Sedan fenders in good shape....I think they were pretty cheap when I got an estimate. I don't have your number...I'll send you a PM w/ some more info.

Well, I'd rather be faster with a lot more torque than have a V6 Camro, Mustang or any American car meant to be muscle, they need the V8's growl, raw power and awesome capabilities.
It's more for the self satisfaction and accomplishment...and it will still be powerful. It will be my first engine build, eventually I'll mod up a LS1, but this will make me happy...so yea...
96 Camaro...$3000
Supercharged...$7000
Owning a V8 (stock lol)...priceless
It should sound badass as well (not like a V8, but I've been there and done that)...
Powerdyne, Comp GT Cam, Valvetrain, P&P Heads and Intake, Fuel Upgrades, Stall, full bolt ons and some other goodies...anyone want to give me some $$$???

Just ordered a RK Sport front ground effects piece (not like a body kit style, very similar to the stock RS gfx) and then it's off to get the bumper repainted...my lil bro backed a golf cart into it

One of my favorite mustangs was one I saw in Hot Rod back in my American Muscle days, (Yes, used to think hot rods were better than imports, I still love them, but I like handling , and turbos haha. One of my dreams is to build up a 69 Camaro with all new equipment, yet keep it looking old. Coil overs, reworked frame, fuel injection, everything, yet make it look old still interior wise and in the engine bay I want to use a fuel injection system I saw in a mag that almost looked like it was carbed when the air filter was on, very stealth.) Anyway, this mustang was called the Black Mamba, and it was a V6 supercharged that could eat up a stock Cobra easily. Very cool.
